Any seasonal items such as furniture, holiday, etc., you want to keep those items closer to the front of your unit and the things you rarely use to the back. If you will be storing a lot of seasonal items, it’s also great to rent a 2nd unit for personal/household or an extra-large unit to keep the items divided. Do not store heavy items for long periods of time on tops of tables, the legs can become weak over time.
